Some love stories start with perfect timing — Lauren and Zach’s started the night before graduation. They met through mutual friends at an OSU celebration, went on their first date in Tulsa a week later, and never looked back. Four years later, on September 28, 2024, they said I do surrounded by everyone they love most.
We sat down with Lauren to hear about the moments that made their wedding day unforgettable.
How did you and Zach meet?
“We met through mutual friends the night before his graduation at OSU. We had our first date a week later in Tulsa, and the rest is history — we’ve been together almost four years!”
What was your favorite part of the planning process?
“I enjoyed all of it! Picking the dress, choosing the flowers, piecing together how the day would come together — every decision was so fun. (And yes, finding my dress at La Mariée was definitely a highlight.)”
What was the moment you’ll never forget from your wedding day?
“The doors opening right before I walked down the aisle — seeing all of my friends and family in one place, and my best friend waiting for me at the end. That image is burned into my memory forever.”
What was your experience like at La Mariée?
“La Mariée was the best place to find my wedding dress. The dresses were beautiful, unique, and such high quality — unlike anything I’d seen elsewhere. I never felt pressured, which made such a difference. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I just had a genuinely great experience.”
One piece of advice for future brides?
“Enjoy every single minute. It goes by so fast — take a breath, slow down, and really take it all in.”
