Hannah is a real La Mariée bride — and we are elated to share her wedding. She married her husband, Conley, on June 27th, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Downtown Tulsa, OK, and we had the absolute honor of helping her curate her perfect look for the big day.
We’re sharing all the details about Hannah and Conley — what she loved most about wedding planning, her advice for future brides, and of course, their stunning photos captured by both Jackie Zaferes Photography and Ninde Weddings!
How did you meet Conley? Tell us about your relationship before you got engaged.
“Conley and I are actually from the same hometown and went to high school together, but we never really crossed paths, even though we shared many mutual friends. I was actually friends with so many people in his family, including his mom! It wasn’t until eight years later that we finally connected. From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind and intentional in pursuing me. We dated for 11 months before getting engaged and truly enjoyed that season without rushing, even though we both knew marriage was our goal. We spent that time learning each other’s values, goals, and dreams, traveling, making memories, and building a friendship that became the foundation of our marriage. To this day, he is my best friend, someone who keeps me accountable, makes me laugh, and encourages me every step of the way.”
How did he propose?
“He told me we were going to dinner at the restaurant inside the historic Phil Tower in downtown Tulsa. When we walked into the lobby, he had a beautiful candlelit setup, but I didn’t realize what was happening until I saw my cousin, Jackie Zafares (@jackiezaferesphotography), step out with her camera (She is a local wedding photographer!). It was the sweetest surprise. We were married six months later in the church directly across the street from where he proposed!”
What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?
“My favorite part was incorporating meaningful, intentional details that made the day feel uniquely ours. We wanted every part of our wedding to have purpose and reflect the people who poured into our lives. We wrote handwritten letters to every guest, my reception dress was created from my mom’s wedding dress, our custom matchboxes featured artwork inspired by one of my husband’s tattoos with our last name across the front, and we took communion using cups that belonged to both of our grandparents. We even left our reception in my great aunt’s 1972 Corvette that she bought brand new in 1972! Every detail told a piece of our story.”
Do you have any advice for brides who just got engaged or are currently planning their wedding?
“This season goes by so much faster than you think, even if you have a long engagement. Focus on what truly matters, let go of the things you can’t control, and don’t be afraid to delegate. The people who love you genuinely want to help. And be nice to your mom! She is experiencing this season right alongside you. <3”
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
“Instead of doing a traditional first look or first touch, we spent the morning together in the backyard reading our private vows to one another. It gave us a quiet moment to slow down, pray, and soak everything in before the excitement of the day began. At the end, he surprised me with a magnolia tree, which made the moment even more meaningful because we will get to watch it grow alongside our marriage!”
What was your experience like working with La Mariée?
“Working with La Mariée was incredible. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was shopping with a friend. I always had a vision for what I wanted but wasn’t quite sure how to bring it to life. My stylist helped me pair dresses, bodysuits, and veils until everything felt uniquely me. They celebrated every moment alongside me, never made me feel rushed, and genuinely cared about helping me find the perfect look. It ended up being even more beautiful than I imagined.”
