Katherine Tash
Effortless. Sensual. Quietly Breathtaking.
Katherine Tash didn’t come to fashion through the expected door — she came to Los Angeles to act, stumbled into the design world, and found she couldn’t leave. After training at FIDM and years working in evening wear, she turned her eye toward bridal not because it was the obvious next step, but because made-to-order meant she could build something entirely her own: one gown, one bride, no compromise.
She opened her first studio on Melrose Avenue in 2018, and the work has never left California. Every piece is still designed by Katherine and handcrafted by her team of artisans in their Santa Monica atelier. Her gowns — fluid silks, intricate lace, drape that draws the eye across the body — are defined by a precise, architectural femininity. There is nothing accidental in a Katherine Tash gown. Every line is placed exactly where she means it to be.
Why We Chose Katherine Tash
Where other designers reach for embellishment, Katherine Tash reaches for structure. Her gowns create drama through drape — fluid silks and intricate lace that move with architectural precision across the body, revealing its shape through line rather than decoration. It’s a quieter kind of boldness, and a more assured one. We chose Katherine Tash for the La Mariée bride who knows exactly what she wants and doesn’t need ornamentation to prove it — just the right gown, cut with precision, doing exactly what she intended.
