A trunk show is a specialized event hosted by bridal boutiques to showcase specific designer collections of their wedding dresses or accessories to customers. Many bridal boutiques, including La Mariée, will only carry a few wedding dresses from their designers. During a trunk show, the designer provides a selection of garments or items from their collection to the boutique for a limited time. This provides brides-to-be with an opportunity to view and try on dresses they typically wouldn't find at the store.
In addition, trunk shows are a great way for bridal boutiques and designers to find out if their brides in a particular area will like a certain designer. In fact, La Mariée is hosting two guest designer trunk shows this summer! We are looking forward to seeing how our brides like Gemy Maalouf and Marchesa wedding dresses.
