Jenny Yoo didn’t set out to design wedding gowns at first. A Parsons graduate, she launched her label in New York in 2002 to solve a specific problem: stylish, modern bridesmaid dresses barely existed. Brides noticed. They started ordering her bridesmaid styles in white to wear as their own gowns, and by 2006 she’d built a full bridal collection around the same instinct that got her there: clean lines, modern cuts, and a fit that could carry real confidence.
Every gown still runs on that same thinking. Silk crepe, airy tulle, and soft chiffon layer into a look that photographs beautifully. The label has stayed a family business through two decades of growth, and it shows in how the fit work gets done: with real bodies in mind. She isn’t looking for a transformation. She wants a dress that feels like the most put-together version of a day she’s already excited about.
